Privacy

This site is mostly something to read. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing about you is sold or shared.

Notes

When you write a note, I keep your name, how you know me, your note, and your link and photo if you add them. Your photo is made smaller in your browser first, which also removes its location data. Your country, as Cloudflare reports it, is saved with the note. A note is public only after I approve it.

To stop spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person. I count notes per visitor with a scrambled form of your internet address, never the address itself.

Endorsements

These are by invitation only. You sign in with Google or LinkedIn so I know the invitation reached the right person. From that sign-in I receive your name, email address and profile photo. Your email is used only to check that it matches the invitation; it is kept privately and never shown on the site. What you write, your name, role, company, link and the photo you choose appear on the site after I approve them.

Where it is kept

On Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
